There is, however, a right one. A ratio that hits every time. Matcha has a method, and it's worth knowing. We put it together so you can skip the trial and error and go straight to the good cup.
Single-origin regions in Japan. We're specific about sourcing because it's the only thing that actually matters.
Because not all matcha is the same. Region matters. Harvest matters. Rarity matters. Our pricing reflects those differences directly.
Sort of. There's no regulation around it, no certifying body, no standard, nothing stopping anyone from calling whatever they ground up last Tuesday "ceremonial grade." We use the term because it communicates something, but we're not hiding behind it. Our matcha is sourced single-origin from Japan and genuinely qualifies for traditional tea ceremony use. The label is shorthand. The quality is the actual point.
Whenever you want. Morning, afternoon, after dinner. There's no rule. There's no wrong time for a ritual you actually look forward to.
A bamboo chasen is traditional and does the job beautifully. A small regular whisk or a frother works too. We're not precious about it. The point is making something you love.
